Process to become a 4-H Volunteer
Welcome to the 4-H Volunteer page.
The process of becoming a 4-H Volunteer leader starts with your local 4-H Club. Look up the local club leader contact on the How to Join/4-H club page of this web site. Contact the Club leader, let them know of your interest in volunteering, and find out what areas/projects the local club needs supported. Once the need is confirmed then follow the three step process below.

A.Fill out and sign paper application forms with local 4-H Club
list of local Clubs - 4-H Clubs
B. On-line, view orientation modules and complete quizzes

1b. 4-H Orientation - complete quiz - http://ucanr.org/4h_orientation_quiz
2. 4-H Creating Safe Places - watch video and quiz - http://ucanr.org/sites/SafeSpaces/ you will have to create a "sign in" account for the safe places video.
C. Complete fingerprint screening using a Live Scan service form and locations for scanning will be sent once steps A and B are complete.
