Russ comes to us from Stanislaus County where he is still a volunteer leader. He has 7 years of experience as a community club leader and nearly 10 years of experience as a project leader (Foods and Nutrition, Leadership, Dairy Goats, and etc). Russ also is a member of the statewide camping task force, the California Camping Institute and has been involved with the camping programs in Stanislaus County. Russ has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from CSU Fresno and a Masters in Public Administration from CSU Stanislaus.

Richard has been involved in UCCE 4-H programs since the 1950's, as younger brother, member, volunteer leader, 4-H assistant and 4-H Youth Development Advisor for the last 30 years. His experience has included counties of Sonoma, Napa, San Benito, and Merced. Richard has a BA in Industrial Arts, MA in Technology Education, and a Standard Secondary Teaching Credential. Major emphases include Science Engineering and Technology programs in 4-H and Youth Development Models.
Since 2004 Richard has also serced as the County Director over seeing all Merced County Cooperative Extension programs.
